Sheepdogs Eye View

Here is a unique perspective as we take a sheepdogs eye view, with Floss the newest member to Harry’s four legged team. She’s is running through some training with Harry in our designated paddock. Floss concentrates on gathering the sheep together and driving them in the direction Harry commands, whilst ensuring there are none left behind.

By using vocal commands and different tones of the whistle Harry is able to move her left, right, forward, back, stand and to go and look for any outlying sheep left behind. At 2 ½ years old Floss is a valuable member of the team but still has a lot to learn. We are really looking forward to seeing how she comes on and works with other members of the dog pack at Pollybell.
