This time of year our organic lambs are putting on weight feeding on our grass. We mainly use a grass clover ley which provides suitable grazing. On areas of the farm, we drill this in rotation, by grazing the grass we are able to ensure the clover develops which fixes nitrogen in the soil to aid the growth of future crops.
