We have an exciting opportunity for a Farm Administrator on our organic family farm in Nottinghamshire.
The chosen candidate will be an experienced administrator, with a real passion for food and farming. They should have proven communication and organisational skills. The Farm Administrator will be expected to take on responsibility, show initiative and pay close attention to detail. There will be an involvement in all aspects of the business, working closely with the directors and farm team.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Diary organising and PA to farm directors
- Input crop information into Gatekeeper (field recording system), analyse data and carryout mapping
- Collate and record data on livestock movement records and passports etc
- Record keeping for the farm’s extensive environmental schemes
- With the compliance manager help maintain records for BRC, organic and farm audits
- Provide assistance to the account’s manager with inputting invoices and seasonal staff payroll
- Future planning of the farm business – researching new projects
- Other varied duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience of office administrative work, on farm would be advantageous, though training will be given
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- A flexible approach to work and changing priorities
- Full clean driving licence
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate. It is intended that the role is full time but there is flexibility with regards to the hours of work
