Here Lee is combining one of our tidiest fields of winter wheat, Cougar. There is a relatively low weed burden in this field which is largely a result of us following a lengthy rotation. The previous crop was broccoli and cauliflower. When growing these vegetable crops we can operate 3 mechanical hoes of multiple passes and have some manual weeding to ensure maximum growth of the high value crop. This proves to reduce the weed burden in the following crop of winter wheat. #harvest19
